Which workshop ticket do I purchase if I am a certified ASL interpreter?

If you are a certified sign language interpreter, CEUs are used to maintain RID certification. A “Certified Interpreter” ticket is for people who need CEU processing through RID.

I am taking a workshop for CEUs, but not because I’m RID certified - instead this is for my BEI / employment / other. Do I still qualify for a Community/Non-certified Ticket?

Yes. Here at Good Signs, we understand that CEUs are used for more than just a RID certification requirement.

When you click "Add to Cart" for the Community ticket, a pop-up will come up and one of the questions will be whether or not you would like a Certificate following the workshop that reflects your participation. We often have workshop participants then use this Certificate to aid them in confirming CEUs for a variety of other reasons, including BEI, workplace requirements, etc.

Nothing happens when I press "Add to Cart."

After choosing your ticket type, press Add to Cart and a pop-up will appear to gather a few more pieces of information about your ticket.

If you don’t see a pop-up after pressing Add to Cart, please confirm that your browser is allowing pop-ups to appear! If you continue to have problems, please contact info@goodsignsinterpreting.com for help with troubleshooting your issue.

What do I do after I click “Add to Cart”?

When you click "Add to Cart" for either ticket, a pop-up will come up to gather more information, including the best email address to send further information (this way you can use a separate email address for your receipt during checkout), your RID # (if you’re having CEUs processed), and whether or not you would like a Certificate following the workshop that reflects your participation. We often have workshop participants then use this Certificate to aid them in confirming CEUs for a variety of other reasons, including BEI, workplace requirements, etc.

After you’ve submitted answers to the questions, click the cart in the upper right of your screen to continue the checking out process.

When will I receive the Zoom link?

GSIA will distribute the Zoom link during the week prior to the workshop and again the morning of the workshop. If it is the day before the workshop and you have not received the Zoom link yet, please feel free to email info@goodsignsinterpreting.com to ask for more information.

When will I receive my CEU / participation Certificate?

CEU / participation Certificates are sent out up to a week following the workshop - though typically you’ll receive it within the first 48 hours. If it has been longer than 5 business days following the workshop and you still have not received your Certificate, please feel free to email info@goodsignsinterpreting.com to ask for more information.
